About Us
Founded in 2018 to meet the need for group training sessions in the in Markham, Ontario, Alphas Running is client-centered, and performance-focused running club. We provide expertise, motivational support and encouragement to transform you from a novice or hesitant runner into a dynamic runner.

We offer coaching for individuals who want to improve various aspects of their running:

Functional: technique, returning from injury

Run fitness: Improving fitness, speed, agility

Outcome based: Training towards a specific event.
Alphas coaching philosophy is based on Hansons Marathon Method, the revolutionary training program from one of the best running teams in the world, the Hansons-Brooks Distance Project; the similar methods used to turn their runners into race winners, national champions, and Olympians.

Head Coach - Toussaint
As the founder and head coach of Alphas Running, I focus on helping other runners realize and achieve their true potential.
There is nothing I love more than helping my athletes achieve their running goals, whether that goal is to run their first race, safely return to running postpartum, run a half marathon / marathon PR or qualify for the Boston Marathon.

Over the past 2 years I have worked with almost 100 runners and have helped many of them to run personal best times at distances from the 5 km to the marathon.
​
Clients I have trained have improved their times by between 5 minutes to 20 minutes.
